Over the past year, Essential Skills Ontario, Literacy Link South Central (LLSC), the Literacy Network of Durham Region (LiNDR) and Literacy Northwest (LNW) have been working on the second phase of a two-year initiative to design implementation plans so that three communities in Ontario can develop and build local industry-specific career ladders. ‘Career Ladders’ – an approach designed to enhance the skills of vulnerable adults and move them into better jobs, as well as support employers looking to upskill their workforce – has been showing promise in jurisdictions across the world.

Join ESO and our partners, LLSC, LiNDR and LNW, Wednesday April 22 from 1:30-2:30PM ET for our webinar - Developing Career Ladder Pilots in Ontario. In this free, one hour webinar, participants will be provided information on:
• The Career Ladders concept and recommendations from Phase I
• The overall deliverables of Phase II
• The training asset map and implementation plan process
• Lessons learned from pilot site activities

There will be time for questions at the end of the webinar.
