New Release: PIAAC Bulletin on Young Adults

Since the release of the Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC) in October, Essential Skills Ontario has been examining the results to determine how Ontario and Canada have fared in comparison to other OECD countries.

Our most recent bulletin, Young Adults in PIAAC: What Will the Future Skills Distribution Look Like? examines how young adults in Canada performed in literacy and numeracy in the PIAAC survey compared to other countries, and what the potential implications of these results are for their current and future education and labour force attachment. These results will help inform policy and programming decisions for skills development among youth - those who will become our future workforce.
